Supply Chain Survivors was founded when Velia Ontiveros, an MBA with a passion for integrating Organizational Development and Ethics habits into the Global Supply Chain. Our story began with Velia's insight into the need for robust professionals and resilient organizations in the ever-evolving world of supply chain managemet, sheĀ recognized the prevalence of the "Survivor's Syndrome," a recurring challenge that impedes the growth of both professionals and organizations. Despite the multitude of certifications offered in Supply Chain today, Velia perceived a distinct gap between theoretical knowledge and the real-world challenges faced by SCM professionals and the crucial interplay between technical expertise (aptitude) and purpose-driven work (attitude). She observed that employees and organizations thriving with purpose exhibit a remarkable ability to navigate and overcome the Survivor's Syndrome, achieving unprecedented success.Ā We believe that Survivor Syndrome should be treated with the same seriousness as any physical syndrome to ensure a Win-Win outcome for all,Ā this is the reason why our courses Ā and tools are designed to help individuals identify theirĀ purpose and mission, align them with their employer's, and create a structured plan for career progress and advancement.
