I encourage professionals to recognize the importance of addressing proactively and mitigaing its effects in order to create healthier and amore profudctive work environments.


What is the Survivor Syndrome ?


In a Organizational and Professional context, a "Survivors" can be defined as an individuals who, after experiencing significant workplace changes, such as layoffs, organizational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions or rapid technological advancements turn into an unknown state, experiencing lost of their focus, sense of direction, guidance, and vision.

These changes can lead to feelings of disorientation, uncertainty, and professional disconnection.These individuals may suffer from Survivor Syndrome, which can manifest as feelings of guilt, anxiety, low morale, and stagnation.


Survivor Syndrome may result from various disruptive events, including:

When a company reduces its workforce, those who remain employed may struggle to regain their focus and sense of purpose amidst the aftermath.
